A few weeks ago, Alba of Independent Mami hosted a watch party for Premios Juventud–that’s pretty much the Teen Choice Awards, but in . Now, I took sign language as my foreign language, so I know not a lick of spanish. Even though, the award show was in another language, I still understood most of it! I guess my love for pop culture transcends language barriers. I had a wonderful time getting makeovers and learning Spanish from the other ladies. Yes…I was the only Non-Latina…everyone laughed at me when I tried to pronounce Spanish words.
Alba has a wall that is painted with chalkboard paint! She wrote all the hashtags on it and allowed us to write our twitter handles. Fun!
Omg. The food was delicious!! Cupcakes, cookies, chicken, salad, and even some Jenny Craig snacks.
