After the color pink, sparkle is my favorite color. Put them together and I’m like obsessed. I’m like the biggest girly girl ever. My apartment is pink. I keep a giant tub of rhinestones and a hot glue gun ready too. If it (whatever it may be) doesn’t come in pink, I’ll bedazzle it. It’s obviously clear that #INeedSparkle!
Like seriously, I need sparkle. I’m the kind of girl that likes to do everything differently. My friends call it doing the most or the call me extra. I just like to call myself EXTRA-ordinary. Part of me being EXTRA-ordinary is how I dress and accessorize. I wear a lot of punk and a lot of sparkle.
Some of my favorite sparkly things:
My hot glue gun and rhinestone kit. This has turned so many plain and boring things into something fun and shiny. My graduation cap is one of them.
My Barbie’s and my (under construction) Barbie room. Yes. I collect Barbie’s. Some of my dolls have these gorgeous gowns with beautiful beading and bedazzling. I definitely want to accent some sparkle into the decor.
My cubic zirconia diamond earrings are my fave. They literally go with everything.
My pink wine cart (DIY post coming soon) has sparkly coasters, shiny coasters, and of course liquors to make tasty libations.
My sparkly and pink BMW emblem (another DIY) is a crowd favorite and matches my pink plates exactly.
When I workout, I wear my “I don’t sweat, I sparkle” tee and everyone loves it. I just want to be somewhat pretty when I workout.
I don’t drink coffee anymore but I’ve switched to tea. It just doesn’t taste right if its not coming out of my shiny pink tumbler.
I love sparkle so much that my dog’s name is Sparkle! Yes! She’s just like me too. She loves pink and she’s easily distracted by sparkly things. She thinks all my earrings are toys too.
These are items that I use in my day-to-day life. They are not only conversation starters, they are things that I need to be the EXTRA-ordinary person that I am.
