Last Sunday, I was invited to Queens Palace Hair Salon to learn about the new texture manageability system from Beautiful Textures. This revolutionary new system allows natural haired ladies to straighten their hair without chemicals and return back to their natural curly state.

The system is described as a strong deep conditioner. Alot of skeptics are calling it a perm for natural hair people…that doesn’t even make sense! The system only consist of a shampoo and a conditioner. We were invited to try out the system, but you know that I stay weaved up, so my natural hair was braided away. I was however able to witness a lot of other women partake in the treatment.

Those who participated in the treatment were given complimentary styles. The process starts with a shampoo, then a conditioner, then heat (blow out and flat iron). It was amazing to see how all of these women transformed. Some of them hadn’t seen their hair that straight since before they were relaxed. It was cool to see science meet beauty.

• The Beautiful Textures Reversible™ Straightening Texture Manageability System does not contain chemicals therefore it will not damage your natural hair or change your curl type.
• It will remain straight for six weeks depending on how you care for it . Since the system is reversible, it can easily be washed out with clarifying shampoo.
• It costs under $10 and is sold in stores like Wal-Mart, Walgreens, and select Beauty Supplies.

 While we waited to get our hair styled, we indulged in some yummy organic waffles, chicken, sausage, sweet potatoes  and fruits. Y’all know if it’s not from a box I can’t make it, so I definitely had first, seconds, and thirds. Lol There was also bottomless mimosas and cupcakes! I indulged in those as well…I won’t say how much of either I had. 😉

We each took a product home with us in our swag bag.

I had a great time learning about this product and I’m inspired to try it on my own natural hair.
