Evangers Canned Dog Food Review

I don’t know what I did to deserve this goodness, but last week my human bought home some delicious cans of something new. I don’t know exactly what it was, but it smells like the stuff she eats. She mixed it with my regular dog food, but I ate around it and ate this good stuff. I heard her say one day I was getting a “cass-er-role” which was good, but the next day I got real chicken!

I love chicken. I could hardly contain myself. Whoever makes this new food that mom bought home deserves a high-paw. Let me ask mom what I’m having for dinner tonight.

I’ve made no secret that Sparkle is the greediest little dog on the planet; she will eat anything. However, that doesn’t mean she eats everything right away. Sometimes, she lets it sit and then comes back to devour it. I have never in our two years together seen her respond to food like she responded to Evangers. All training went out of the window, she could hardly sit still, and she even called herself barking at me!

I had to put her in the other room while I fixed her plate. Sparkle does eat table food, and I think that is why she loves the Evangers, it smells like my mom or I is in the kitchen making something. I can open the can and she will smell it from all the way upstairs. Literally obsessed. What is even more interesting is that my sisters dog, Preston, who is a lot older than Sparkle and MUCH more picky, devoured the food as well. He is generally well behaved and will wait for you to make his food, but he couldn’t keep himself together either. He didn’t come up for breath until his bowl was empty.

What really blew my mind is how all of a sudden Sparkle and Preston started sharing food. Although they are cousins, they don’t usually hang out together. Preston is really chill and Sparkle is always super energetic, so their personalities don’t mesh. Usually there is a little bark or growl when one is near the food of another but not this time, they were eating from one bowl!!

I’m still in awe about how they reacted to this dog food. I guess I wouldn’t want hard dry kernels everyday of my life either but…yeah..they loved it. Thanks so much to the Evangers team for sending this to us to review.
