I love finding boutiques in Houston, but I really love finding affordable boutiques! I’m so glad to have found Designs by Lynn here in Houston. This boutique is in the Medical Center area and has just opened up this past May, by the owner Marcy Martin.Designs by Lynn offers  fashionable clothing from casual to formal. Everything is on trend…but not at super trendy prices. She also carries plus sizes! 

I love how cozy the boutique is! I was telling Marcy, the owner, I hate going into large stores where there is a ton of everything and  lots of people there too. I prefer an intimate shopping experience where I can be helped by the sales associate personally. That’s exactly what you get here at Designs by Lynn!

I was at the boutique for a good two hours just chatting about fasshion and somehow we got on the topic of reality TV! But that’s the kind of shopping experience that I like! I really felt like I connected with Marcy, which makes it easier for me to want to try things on and ultimately purchase items!

Marcy encouraged me to try on some items. Everyone who knows me, knows that I hate trying on clothes! That’s weird right…I’m a fashion blogger! No, I like to put clothes on, but sometimes when I’m at a store I just get overwhelmed (and hot) while trying on clothes. I’m trying to rush because there are others in line and I end up sweating because the room is small. Ugh–am I being extra or does this happen to you too. Well anyway, Marcy put a fan in the dressing room for me and I wasn’t in a rush to try on clothes…so I had a positive try-on experience! Lol Sometimes I feel like I do too much!

I had so much fun here and I can’t wait to go back! The intimate experience, the nice associates, and of course the fan is enough for me to become a loyal customer! Be sure to stop Designs by Lynn, new website and their boutique here in Houston! Be sure to mention my blog for a 10% discount!
