Designed to Shine!

Last Friday, I attended the 7th Annual Fashion Fashion Extravaganza hosted by the Women’s Ministry of Lakewood Church. This year’s theme was “Designed to Shine” and the proceeds benefit Children’s Literacy Program.

Following the Fashion Show we were to the VIP and Media Reception. It was very nice and I went way over my Weight Watcher’s Points.

Dillard’s had a pop up store inside the Church!

I was so tempted to by all these perfumes as Christmas gifts.

Dillard’s Houston Galleria was the sponsor of the Fashion Show and all of the clothing was provided by them as well. This was a super fun night that allowed Women of Christ to have a fun night of fashion and fellowship. There wasn’t a sermon preached, by God was definitely in the mist and his presence was felt by all who attended.

I loved the way the show was produced and I have over 200 pictures to prove it…I’ll probably need to make a Facebook Album. LOL The music was so great! It was traditional songs with an upbeat techno kind of beat and they also played contemporary songs too. There were also vendors upstairs including Dillard’s selling all kinds of fashion goodies. It was truly a good time in the Lord, and I to be invited back next year.
